500 series – Surface sensor

Temperature sensor in plastic housing with metal thermometers, for the direct measurement of flat surfaces.

DESCRIPTION

The 500 series of surface sensors consist of a plastic housing with a flat metal measurement section on the underside. The sensor can be mounted to the surface by screw, clamp or glue and comes standard with a 2-metre PTFE connection cable. In addition to these models we produce PT and Thermocouple sensors in various forms and connection methods. For your information we would like to refer to the bolt sensors, ring sensors, tubing clamp sensors, etc.

Types	501: Sealing beam sensor, brass housing (MS58) with dimensions 20×10 mm. Attachment hole 3.2 mm. 502: Tank temperature sensor with PTFE housing. Housing dimensions 89×35 mm. Measurement area 48×28 mm. 503: Bearing temperature sensor, mounting through glue attachment. PTFE housing. Housing dimensions 25x12x12 mm, Brass measurement area 15×8 mm. 504: Tank temperature sensor for screw or glue attachment, PVC housing. Housing dimensions 75×35 mm, measurement area 45×20 mm. 505: Tank temperature sensor for screw or glue attachment, PTFE housing. Housing dimensions 35x12x12 mm, measurement area 15×8 mm.
Possible applications	General industry. Climate control. Foodstuffs industry.  Measurements on engine-bearings or -axles.
Measurement element	PT100, PT500, PT1000,  Thermocouple J or K.
Measurement system	Single version in 2 or 3-lead technology.
Temperature range	Is very much dependent on the chosen version and construction.  For the right model you are of course welcome to contact us.
Materials	PTFE or PVC housing. Brass measurement area.
Dimensions	Standard as indicated in type numbering.  Other sizes customised according to the desired length and diameter.
